Rosetta Stone Signs Deal With Homeland Security
Rosetta Stone awarded three year contract with the Department of Homeland Security to provide web-based language-learning programs to ICE employees worldwide.
The deal makes Rosetta Stone’s Web-based language-learning programs available to more than 15,000 ICE employees worldwide.
The contract, valued at $225,000 a year, was awarded following a pilot program in which ICE employees tested Rosetta Stone software.
Effectively immediately, all ICE employees will have online access to Rosetta Stone’s library of 30 languages, including the high-demand languages such as Spanish and Arabic.
Founded in 1992, Rosetta Stone software is used in more than 150 countries.
Inc. magazine named Rosetta Stone No. 673 on its 2007 list of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the United States.
The company’s posted $91 million in revenue last year, according to the Inc. profile.
